Max Muller (Guitar/Vocals)
Having played nearly every pub and club in Newcastle as a solo artist and also in the duo’s (Black Coffee) and (Izakite) it was time to put a band together now that the right musicians became available. Max has also done the sound for many Newcastle bands, most notably (Supersonic) and through his Ferndale Studios recording studio has produced many fine albums for local Newcastle muso’s such as (Rod Ansell), (John Wilson), (Eugene Quinn) and (Graham Meehan) to name some. Max’s Muso Night held at the Lass O'Gowrie Hotel (last Tuesday of every month) has also been the source of many very good live recordings.
Bret van Kriedt (Drums)
Brett has played with many bands but most notably (Non Stop Dancers)(Afram). He brings a wealth of experience having played jazz Regae Rock Afro and Blues. He instantly gets the heartbeat of a song and makes it his own.
Ian Balsdon (Drums)
Ian played in a band with Max and Tim Hall (Bass)(The 99th Floor) some years ago and has always been interested in original songs. He can play hard or lay back which is a rare thing for drummers to be able to do both well. He has his own style, which fits perfectly with Max’s songs as well as with the covers.
Vladimir Issaev (Bass)
Vlad is a session bass player who has a feel for Max's music and adds his own dimensions to it. Vlad is also a composer and we have only started to tap into the magic of Vlad's multitude of original compositions.
Tony Coghlan (Bass)
Tony has played with many bands in Newcastle including Room To Move and King Snake playing regularly at the Wickham Park Hotel. Tony brings years of experience to the band and his bass playing and sound is such that the band has a great foundation to work with. He has a fantastic feel for different styles of music and can bring music to the astral level where people just have to get up and dance. He has earned the respect of other muso's and the people just love him. His contribution to the band is invaluable.
Bongo Pete Harbulot (Percussion)
Bongo Pete has performed with nearly every muso in Newcastle at some time or other. He is the first man thought of when a special occasion arises when a band wants that extra something. He has played with Max and Rod Ansell in (Izakite) and always brings something special to a performance. His knowledge of percussion is second to none and he has mastered a whole range of percussion instruments. He was a finalist in the percussion shoot out at the Basement in Sydney some years ago.
